I haven't seen it yet either, but I haven't highlighted your post to see what you say anat0l

Grateful to a member who saved it from his laptop to my USB on our flight back from MEL on Friday - then when I go to play it, I am missing some codex that won't allow it to play...

Have I told anyone I hate computers lately...where the hell do I download the codex from :confused:

I think I had gleaned as much as you said from the trailers. Well, obviously excluding your opinion piece at the end!

I think the basis of that opinion is on something most people knew about the movie anyway.

Not saying I disagree with you, just that I would not have got your opinion from the trailers :) Certainly, most of the information you were commenting on could have been worked out from the trailers anyway.

Not saying that you were disagreeing; of course you can't get my opinion from the trailers :) and that's not "new knowledge" and nothing to be spoilt.

Passing note: ¡Ay Caramba! 2,200 posts already - I thought it was only yesterday that I hit 2,000....

Oy gevalt...!

Disadvantage of surfing too fast for a processor and with about 50 - 100 tabs open: Firefox just crashed on me.

Didn't lose anything important, but still annoying.

I find that after the crash it'll still offer to re-open your tabs.....

Yeah....but I'm not keen on letting it try to reopen ~75 tabs across two windows.

Plus, session-based or login tabs, like GMail, need to be properly reinitialised anyway.

That sounds like a Kiwi Flyer in the making with lots of web pages open.

I usually only ever have 2 or 3 open at once.

Didn't you enable the pop-up blocker in your browser for when you visit *those* types of sites?

 No; this was at work! ITS will be all over my backside if I even try...

To give you a bit of insight, I usually open up a new tab every time I view a subscribed thread that I have in AFF and FT. So there's instantly about 10-30 tabs. I should get into the habit of closing some as they are not too interesting, but I forget.

Linked articles from threads get a new tab so I can switch between reading the article and the thread. If I have to Google for something or do a bit of browsing related to a thread I'm replying to, then that gets its own tab.

Then I still have tabs for my research work and what not; sometimes I'll search for these in a separate window, to keep them apart from my "non-work" tabs.

So there you have it - me having 30-60 or more tabs isn't unusual.

I don't think what anat0l has posted will spoil the movie in any way.

Which codec do you need? I have had to install a few codecs recently for Windows media player.

I usually have 10-20, but can get upwards of 100 on 4chan :p
2-3 tabs at once is more than enough otherwise it becomes too difficult and time consuming to manage the open tabs....

Obviously you have better internet than I have in downtown Burrill Lake where I am lucky if one window opens. Gotta love living on the wrong side of a hill in a small town!
