Thoughts on today's black market deal Shiraz?

I believe it's the McGuigan Farms Barossa Valley Shiraz. I haven't tasted any of their wines so I can't comment if it's any good.
Unless the wine was absolutely 'cooked' you don't have a long term problem.
There's nothing you can do. Any damage that was going to have been done is now done.
Hm .. I smelt a marketing rodent in the Mitolo vat , but was swept along in the lemming crush.
Mine is due today.. serves me right .

Tried the 'fo Mitolo Cantiniere 2013 on Saturday with some yummy Antipasto and soft cheeses. Agree with some previous reviews here - bit closed at first and needs some time to breathe and open up. Not a big or complex wine but soft and smooth after an hour in the decanter. Think this one will do well after some medium term cellaring.
Wont be sending back but probably not a $68 wine. Strange how the Mitolo site has sold out?? maybe off-loaded to the 'fo?
Anyone going to jump on todays black market deal or pass on it?
If you're speaking of the 2011 Shiraz ($70>$21) - What's the chance this is a Maverick Trial Hill? I'm trying to check Maverick wines site at the moment but it seems to have crashed...
That seems the best match, but they aren't a Red star producer AFAIK. Might be an error on VM's part.
It's no longer listed as 5 red stars, just 5 stars on VM. They seem to do that a fair bit!
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
but VM is starting to loose bit of credibility here...
'starting' is not the correct word.
