Ready for Easter Sunday lunch with my wife’s family

Have to love going to the effort for a 14 month old. Thankfully I’m not a grandparent yet.



But he is a cutie and knows how to play to the camera

Taco Tuesday at Pancho Villa, North Hobart. Great food and venue as always. Outstanding service too.

Had lunch at a local Thai restaurant with a Business Development Manager:

Entrees: Vegetarian spring rolls and Money Bags



Stir fried pork with cashews, as well as stir fried chicken with cashews:

Very decent sized meals and we could barely finish

Van Diemens Land Creamery Café near Elizabeth Town. Bit more gourmet than I'm used to from crossing Tas in years gone by!

Though empty at 14:00 on a cool day when we arrived, the dedicated ice cream queue was literally out the door when we were leaving!

In PERfect autumn weather today we went for a light lunch with friends at the Zamia Cafe in Kings Park. Both meals were very nice and also very filling.

My wife had Fish & Chips



And I had a toasted Beef Foccacia



Then we went for a bit of a drive along the coast before stopping at a small cafe in Scarborough to have Coffee & Portuguese Egg Tarts. Probably not as good as those recently eaten in Portugal by some on here but very tasty anyway.

Keeping up with the PERfect eating, I was at Barchetta, North Cottesloe with a client for our annual meeting and lunch yesterday.

Too much sun across our table made photos difficult

Followed that up with dinner at Charthouse Restaurant in Windsor Hotel, South Perth
with @cove

I thought I’d taken photos of our main meals but can’t find them. But we had dessert and a lovely bottle of Leeuwin Estate Cab Sauv with our mains

Matouille a la Tome des Bauges - and yes, I'll go the charcuterie de Savoie on the side. Before you judge, just know that tome cheese is low fat ... and it comes out bubbling hot.
