OT: So much for the DJ Port Macquarie lottery; I only got to the 1c fare a few times and each time the server failed so I could not finalise. So there goes that half-baked plan for a getaway.

For HPC group 1.

I have noticed a problem with the expiry date on my new HPC membership package. The expiry date is Feb 2010 rather than April. I've advised them and the response is as follows:

'I apologise for the mix up with the expiry dates, your membership is in fact till April 2010 and I will email you letters to rectify this problem and verify your membership is valid until this time.'

I don't whether she is going to email these individually or send them via me. We'll have to see how it pans out. If nothing within a few days I'll follow up again.

I wish to proffer the opinion that until members have HPC cards in their hands showing expiry April 2010 it should not be left to rest.

It may be fine that a membership is actually 'valid' for two months past the date shown on the card but try telling this on check-in at 11pm after a long tiring flight.

First it was re-routed. Now re-issued. Its sounding more and more like a 20-segment, paper ticket DONE4. Lets hope it remains valid beyond the point of origin and does not include revised +++ :shock:

This is the response I have from the HPC re the missing package for kpc and the incorrect expiry on all the others.

Hi Bill,

I will be re-issuing just the cards for you today with the correct expiry and if you have no objection I would like to get them all sent to me at Head Office and I will send them to you all together.

I will be re-issuing all of kpc’s pack and will also get that sent to me.

When I receive them here I will send them express post to you, but I do require for you to send all of the incorrect cards back to us when you receive the new ones to:

I received my membership pack today (thanks straitman) but the card is valid to 02/09 and I received only one $99 stay card.

I thought this was meant to be a two year membership with 2 $99 stay cards?

I have membership card valid through 02/10.

I also have 2 "check in with this great rate" cards, I assumme these are the $99 rate cards, and 2 "member for a stay" cards.

Thanks Straitman; I also found a package addressed to me outside a neighbour's house.

Missing Card Problem: YES!

• Just 1, not 2 $99 'Check in with this great rate' card;
• 2 'member for a stay' cards.

HPC card is similarly 2mths short - expiry date 02/09.

Strange that some were duped with only one 'great rate' card but others received two.

Hi straitman,

I saw post 124, but that was talking about the card being 2 months short (Feb 10). Mine is 1 year and 2 months short (Feb 09).

I am guessing they mixed mine up and provided a 1 year membership instead of a 2? That would probably explain why I only received 1 $99 card?
