I've noticed on ATR flights that I'm unable to select the last 2 rows and I'm gold. I've always been able to do so in the past. Has anyone else noticed this?

Well got my drink... Had to skull. Apart from that, service good. Had pasta with meat balls which was just terrible. Note to virgin, meatballs are not biz class acceptable. Oh, and have at least 2 whites and 2 reds.

Currently Waiting to depart bne on Tarmac. No offer of drinks, not even really welcomed aboard.

Not sure where to post this, but Etihad are building a lounge in MEL. Will be between gates 18 & 20 on the new international pier. Perhaps this could end up being a joint lounge with Virgin?

Actually, the 787's engines are designated 'No Paint Areas'. All operators will have the same grey coloured engines.

I've been told their is a 'fault' with their systems that it preventing J passengers from selecting seats. It's happend to me on numerous occasions. On another note, does anyone know when rows 3-5 become avaliable for passengers without status to pre-select? Or do they not get access at all?

Not really related, but I'm having allot of trouble trying to find flights from SYD-HKG on the VA website. Could someone else have a go? It's constantly giving me an error, and this is happening on multiple computers.

Does anyone know why VA refuse to use the aerobridge at Gate 12 for the A330 in Melbourne? I came in on Saturday from Sydney, and again, those bloody stairs were in use, despite the bridge being 6 feet away. I've never seen it in use for the A330 including the many flights I've had on that...

It's a tricky discussion. Many improvements to be had. But, look at the bigger picture. It's going to take years for everything to settle in. I think the first real taste of the 'new' Virgin Australia will be when they finish renovating the Melbourne Airport terminal. I've seen a few pics...

It depends.... A scroll, fruit tub and juice for breakfast, cheese, crackers, chocolate and choice of drink for snack service, then maybe a spinach and cheese roll thing for lunch etc.. Nothing fancy. Certainly not too bad. I just miss hot meals. :(

I've often thought someone like Karen Martini would be a much better fit instead of Luke.

Yep, I've never had a problem with using the same benefits for a companion. My partner was also put up in row 3 with me this afternoon and used priority boarding etc.
