2023 Hilton Status Retention

Didn't get the mail, but before attempting to sign up, I had nothing in the Active Offers on my account, and now I have the Tier Last Call 2023. No confirmation emails.

Received an e-mail overnight, just need to make 1 stay and my status will be extended for another year. May as well, why not?

Yes - and I think it may end up 50/50 on them actually honoring it - especially if there's no email confirming acceptance, and requirements.
Agreed. Still waiting on a reply email from Diamond desk. Will let you know the outcome (20 hours so far)

Well I just received an email saying I had already been registered to maintain my status with one stay by 31/3. Unlike previous posters I am only silver. I got there by being the guest of the day at an HGI in England. Complimentary silver,my own parking spot,an upgrade and 10% F&B were received.
I have retained this since even though having only 1 stay per year exept 2020 when I had zero. 5 years of silver with only 4 total stays in that time seems generous to me.
Silver is worthless anyway, so wouldn't really say it's generous!

Guess I'm a sucker for maintaining status the hard way by hitting the required nights 🥹

I dunno.. I am hanging onto my travel equipage by the fingernails.. so for me the offer is good.
I haven't been anywhere or done anything since the pandemic arrived other than buying a few points to keep my account
active , this little deal will keep my diamond status for another year..
Why not.. some of the impediments may clear and I may flit off into the wide blue yonder…or may not.. time will tell

Yes, reward stays should be fine.

The promotion FAQs - which are linked in the email - refer to a stay as defined by the HH general T&Cs. In these, you would find the exclusions as shown below:

A "stay" is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again. Specifically excluded from the definition of "stay" are the following types of ineligible stays: wholesale/tour operator packages; contracted crew rates; travel agency discount rates; packages exclusively for casino player card holders; unauthorized Members staying on Go Hilton Team Member or Family & Friends Travel Rates; stays secured utilizing Hilton Grand Vacations Club and Hilton Club timeshare programs, Hilton Grand Vacations marketing packages with a sales presentation requirement; complimentary or barter rooms; NET Group rates; Series Group or IT Group rates; contracted Entertainment or Encore rates; third party websites bookings (irrespective of rate paid); and "opaque" channel bookings where the brand may or may not be known at the time of purchase.

Edit: adding the promo FAQ link for those who hadn’t received the email: https://www.hiltonhonors.com/en_GB/tier-last-call/faq/

Cheers,
Matt.

Just to be safe I emailed Hilton to triple check that a reward stay counts for this promo. Would hate to miss out on Diamond for another year for the sake of 1 paid stay!

Same - email appear to be automatic.

Based on the FAQ it would seem that a 'stay' is defined as per the regular Hilton T+C's.

So who should you believe? If either?
Just spreading doubt as I seem to be about the only one who hasn't got the offer 🤔
