Here is the fixer
Pyne is demanding we accept the virus and move on and stop being an island once vaccinated. He was our local member and was actually very helpful. Got us an invitation to visit the US senate! Here is the fixer
Will Robinson!DANGER DANGER WA DANGER!!!
Tighter rules and restriction levels in WA
WA becomes first state to introduce a vaccine requirement for travellers
WA has become the first jurisdiction in Australia to mandate a proof of vaccination requirement for inbound travellers.www.abc.net.au
Some of it is understandable, other parts are extremely onerous. I also wonder who is going enforce having a negative test prior to departure, or if it's expected for the airline to do it.
Having case numbers against the various levels is useless, as they are usually entirely ignored anyway. The biggest issue to me is the lack of a sunset clause for any of these restrictions.
I went to school with him...he's no where near as smart as he thinks! Here is the fixer
His Podcasts (Pyne Time) are a hoot!I went to school with him...he's no where near as smart as he thinks!
Really hoping SA will reopen to Qld soon. I just want to see mum one last time before COVID really takes hold across the country and interstate travel is cut permanently.
Mr McGowan would like a word.In fact fully vaccinated people should be able to travel freely by Christmas and perhaps even earlier. There is absolutely no way state borders will be a thing by then.
Article in The Age this morning from one of the Doherty chronies stating even at 80% vaccinated across the nation and we in Phase 3, recommendation we do not open up travel between state borders if one state (i.e. NSW) has case numbers above 500 per day. My thoughts were practically every state would be around 500 cases per day each, replicating what has happened across the world with highly vaccinated countries.I hear you

By then the unvaccinated can have covid for Christmas pudding for all I care

McGowan keen to pursue 'zero COVID' after 80pc vaccine threshold is achieved
Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan says he will pursue a policy of zero COVID in his state even after he reaches a 80 per cent vaccination rate.www.skynews.com.au
And does anyone in WA think they are flying anywhere internationally in the next 2 years? Out of other states yes, but not out of Perth Airport.Mr McGowan would like a word.

No need to “feel” for those of us living in WA. We take reducing the spread of COVID seriously, including the occasional strict measures, so that we can live a safe and unrestricted lifestyle. Life’s pretty good over here at the moment. Please, goes without saying that WA is excluded from anything Although I feel for people living there (including my family!) they are stuck with what they ordered for dinner

If you think WA is so special that COVID is not going to be wide spread there because it is "taken seriously" then that simply highlights how far from reality some residents of WA live.No need to “feel” for those of us living in WA. One can take it seriously, and still have a plan for the future. The WA government has no plan, and is not showing any leadership on the way forward .No need to “feel” for those of us living in WA. And while I really do appreciate your comments, and I mean that sincerely, the majority of the population of Australia (majority meaning over 50%) don’t travel for work. It is very hard on those whose businesses and incomes are harshly impacted, I totally agree.Really happy that it is pretty good for you, it really isn’t for many that depend on the domestic (and international) movement of people for their livelihoods.
So I will continue to feel greatly for those people including my family.
