Double Status Credits 2011

This has cost Qantas some money already, I cancelled a Fully Flex and will rebook later at a Flexi Saver rate, and earn 120SC's instead of 60SC's plus save momey even with the $22 cancellation fee of the TA.

I have looked in my Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts and Deleted Items. I have 5 emails from last night for QF domestic bookings later in the year, Domino's, HotelClub, Ninemsn newsletters, SPG, local golf club, Hertz #1 Club, Accor Hotels may specials etc. However no Qantas double SC offer.

Hmmm.... I think Qantas is sending me a clear message. I am heading off into the Virgin Australia forum as I am sure I am going to get some love there. May even end up with a status match....

Will a flight booked today(11/5), but before I got the email and registered, be eligible? It's only BNE-CBR-BNE, but the extra 30 SCs all help.

As I read the email, you had to register, then book....

I received the email at 2.50 this afternoon.
I haven't flown QF this year at all and perhaps they are trying to add an inducement or find out why. At this time of year I usually have several J class overseas trips booked.
Status year ends January next year.

Never ever got this. Been waiting since January 2003. I put this down to it being Jan and heaps on holiday higher fares. But with lower business PAX at that time you'd think I'd get one eventually.

QF just wiped off ~3,250 QF SC's end April. No QF 2X SC email. No QF love, thanks for you business or loyalty.

Dependent on how you are getting there, you could requalify WP by the time you get back to SYD :shock:

Sure looks like if QF thinks they can take your business / loyalty / spend for granted, well they will. Being selective only generates resentment from those not "chosen" by some unpublished criteria to be awarded 2x SCs. Fair go QF. Level playing field mate. Hey Red Roo. You there?

WP + PG for me, only 1 month into my FF year, 300 SC of flights in tyhe last 5 weeks, only one trip in my bookings at the moment..

Almost exactly the same for me, but sadly no email in my inbox.

I'm WP + PG. My FF year starts in April too. 280 SCs in the last 5 weeks. Only one trip in my bookings (next week).

Am very much feeling the love. Received email today and booked a JASA Syd-Mel-Per-Adl-Syd (91k) for a total of 520SC just in time for end of Jun to attain SG

Perhaps they know my partner is virgin staff and he's swaying me to the dark side... Haha

I got the double SCs offer in Dec 10, but not this one. Actually, I'm half glad I did not get it again this time, as after my flights back from Ozfest later this month, I would have requalified for Plat til Oct 12. If I got the offer again this time, I would have been tempted to make a run for Partner Gold which would really be money wasted!

Hope you guys get your double SCs posted automatically without a "fight" with QF...what a hassle! I'm still fighting for my partner's double SCs to be posted:evil:

I received the email yesterday, UK time. My year ends on 31st August and I am currently sitting on a shade over 4,300 SC's this year.

This is my first ever targetted email so I suspect they are totally random!!

I did put my return F Flight from LHR - MEL back until September this year (no change fee) I booked a LHR - MEL - LHR F fare leaving tonight (12/05) so I guess I will get an extra 720 SC's for no extra cost. I have 2 more trips to Europe along with 5 Trans Tasman before the end of the promo. If there is LTP @ 28,000 SC's I guess I will find out later this year.
