Please go back to the previous online community post, and leave well alone. I cant navigate tis at all and cannot find latest info!

I like how the email notifications now include the content of new posts.

For threads with latest posts: Recent Posts | The Australian Frequent Flyer Online Community - those should display at top.

For latests posts (and all other qactiviery): Recent Activity | The Australian Frequent Flyer Online Community

Sorry, serfty, what I meant was: within a thread, how can I display the posts from latest at the top through previous posts down the page to the original post being on the last page. I like to work back from the most recent post, not forward from the first post.

The first link does not show new posts, it shows threads with new posts, the second link suits my browsing habits better, but it currently shows all activity rather than just posts, this looks very cluttered to me by listing everyone's likes and agreements.

Are there any settings I can change So I don't see likes and agreements in the recent activity ?

Can I automatically display more lines of activity in the recent activity view,

Does the recent activity page refresh its self or will it have a notification of new posts like the previous platform had, or do I need to refresh the browser?

How do I look at the post in recent activity? (As opposed to the first unread post in the threadit is in) I saw a post mentioned clicking on the time worked - but this doesn't seem to work on an IPad

And why not all? :rolleyes::D
Because my old TRs that I have looked at still have the original sized pictures so it's true not all need to be looked at!
See I told you I was unique.:D:)
Definitely though needs a better selection of smilies.

Is it possible to have instead of (or in addition to) the shortcut in the top right that says 'Watched Forums' a shortcut for 'Watched Threads'? I tend to follow threads more than whole forums.

Why do some of my posts appear and then disappear and subsequently reappear on this thread? Does a post disappear temporarily if someone is quoting from it in a reply?

Brilliant - looks like the new forum software doesn't degrade the image quality any more. Good point about EXIF data: must remember to remove it before I post.

How do you remove the data?

My Explorer replacement (and SO MUCH more) is Directory Opus (highly recommended BTW). I select an image then click the down arrow on Properties | Edit Metadata then delete or alter metadata as required. There's a lot of info there..

But Google tells me "On Windows, right-click on a picture and choose Properties, then open the Details tab and click Remove Properties and Personal Information. You have the option to strip out some or all of the attached EXIF data, and you can create a a copy of the image file if you don't want to mess with the original."

I have been going around in circles for half an hour and still cannot find anything I want. What happened to my list of threads that I follow and previously could easily, with one click, check for any updates? Nothing like change for the sake of change.

Top of Page - Community Forums | Watched Threads.

The new forum software takes a bit of getting used to, but is a definite step up from the old clunky vBulletin (which is ~15yo - do you still use a 15yo PC with DOS 6.20?)

So how do I increase the number of posts per page? I used to have 40 per page, now it looks like there are 20 per page.

This isn’t that. The version of vBulletin we were using was EOL’d.

When I get home (I’m out) I’ll investigate and find an answer for you. I too was used to seeing 40 per page. That said, 20 is a step up from 10.

From memory the number of posts per page is in the Admin settings, ( I converted a VBulletin forum over to Xenforo about 3 years ago). The number of posts per page for Xenforo is set at 20 as a default and is a forum wide setting. Takes a little getting use to, but is so much faster than VBulletin. The mobile version will make a huge difference to those using mobile devices.

All I can say is that on a desk top, IMO it now looks 100 times worse than before and seems horrible to navigate.
