Ok, I'd never noticed the link/button before.They were previously, so this is the same behaviour. If you want a private chat, the conversation feature is available.

Because my old TRs that I have looked at still have the original sized pictures so it's true not all need to be looked at!And why not all?

Brilliant - looks like the new forum software doesn't degrade the image quality any more. Good point about EXIF data: must remember to remove it before I post.
My Explorer replacement (and SO MUCH more) is Directory Opus (highly recommended BTW). I select an image then click the down arrow on Properties | Edit Metadata then delete or alter metadata as required. There's a lot of info there..How do you remove the data?
