It would seem so from this tasting. We were all quite surprised at how well wines from MR showed. Goes to show the value of a double blind tasting.

My personal conclusion was that while there were some decent wines some were pretty average and none were great.

The only Shiraz to buy are those from McLaren Vale as most others are inferior IMO and the best place to get the best wine deals is from Skye Cellars in SA. As a member the special deals they offer are amazing. Just bought their latest 'Thank you' offer of $300+ per dozen for just $100 for members - so good.

Nice! They were serving aged Domaine A Pinot over the bar at some of the big dark mof_ events at this year's festival. Quality wine for a public gig. Maybe happened due to depressed market.

@Steady it is ok to like a particular wine like Rockford or anything else.
When I was 21 I started drinking heavy reds that no one else seemed to like.
The 2018 MossWood cab sav is a beauty but is sold out at the winery.
