Ah so it was a G-up by Markis!

Anyway, I have flights on the 21st and 22nd of this month using OOL. Fingers crossed, though I'm not giving it any more than a 50:50 in my head.

As has been repeatedly stated, DJ wouldn't know the date of completion of work because their own contractors wouldn't be able to provide them with one. Even if they could, how reliable could it be? Just pretend that the date of opening is the 7th of June (because there is a very reasonable chance it will be open by then) and plan your travel/shape your expectations accordingly, if it's that important.

I have gone from being half serious to dead serious about having our opening party 2pm the Saturday after it opens. Will guest in anyone who requests it on whatever Saturday that happens to be.

Really hope someone important & with character can observe & absorb the intersesting & varied threads here.. Sure seems to be some interest & pent up demand to the long awaited... Lounge.. On a good note... I'm sure there will be a lot of positive notes.. We are all anticipating a long & exciting pleasurable experience..

Dr Geoffery Edelsten had a grand piano in the lobby of his GC medical clinic years ago.......is that the "positive notes" you're thinking about for the OOL DJ Lounge??

Wait a minute, that wasn't so positive, it went belly up amid furore and allegation. Not something to aspire to! Forget the grand and just concentrate on grand food.

As a matter of due course, I'll get a couple of iPhone photos of the WIP Monday week (the 21st) on the anticipation that it will still be WIP at that point. Does anyone going there before then feel like taking some pics for us??

I was through there today, not much to see, windows up and men working on ladders but couldnt see much else.
