I wash at night too, but still peg it out - usually it is dry by lunch time :D only use my dryer to finish off damp clothes or if it has been raining !!

I'll get SWMBO to sit next to you tonight.....I think she's already thinking that her last peg was some time ago.

warwick is not the bush but both virgin and Vodafone consistently drop out in our cbd and are hopeless on the edge of town.
I forgot to mention I also had Vodafone mobile broadband for around 8 months and they were shocking. When the connection dropped out (and it was often) I could not connect again and had to reboot the laptop. Try doing that 5-6 times a night and see how long your patience lasts.

Back in Sydney last night and Optus mobile broadband has been impossible. HSPA and WSCDMA only and taking forever and a day.

Home phone was up for a few hours yesterday and now dead again. :(

Got my electricity bill the other day......CR $270 :D The last bill before I switched the solar on was $850.

Those black panels are saving/earning around $4,500 per year.

Wow. May I ask how much the initial investment was?

Quote from Little Miss 6 last night while discussing some general travel stuff:

"What is economomy?"

:shock::shock::shock::shock:

(Yes, she has mostly flown in Y, but isn't yet tall enough to realise what extra legroom is all about. And as long as her seat has PIFE, she's set).

Hee-hee :D
Yesterday we had row 28 on a JQ A320 AKL-ZQN (QF codeshare). Girls perplexed at the seat allocation  Mid flight Miss 10 left 28A to go to the toilet and on the way back breezed right past us and all the way up near the front, where she attempted to pass an FA and cart. Poor thing became quite confused when she couldn't find us and was directed down the back by the FA who had seen me waiving maniacally from 28C ;)

I have a credit voucher in my Qantas bookings and I have no idea why? Is this too On Topic?

Partially used gift voucher? Have you provided any feedback/complaints to customer care?

Feedback yes. It was a good news story. But it was a couple of months ago. Wouldn't they tell me about it?

Well this is a bit different:

Just 720 credits to go until I reach... er, NB.

Must be a new enhancement: "the Frequent flyer handicapping!" If you have a healthy points balance, they give you a handicap, so you need to use all your points on MASAs to reach the level playing field:mrgreen:

I thought I would do an update at the 4 week mark in the west.

After 2 weeks of having luke warm water I got an email from the real estate agent saying that a new gas hot water system was going to be installed.

The boss is still on holidays for another 2 weeks so I get it easy for a bit longer.

Although what is interesting is that the new company and us are both in a similar industry and we have the same problems. It is always a balancing act about providing a good service but providing a service that can actually make you money. Everyone always wants something for as cheap as you can get it. JASAs anyone.

Also at the old company we used to provide cake for a birthday, but at the new company the company doesn't buy you cake(you have to buy your own) but at the end of the day, Wednesday-Thursday-Friday free beer is provided.

I solved the bus problem for the moment in walking 400 metres extra to the bus stop at the start of the line. If you haven't figured that out check Facebook.

Virgin Australia on my flight BNE-PER had good service again. Checking in 5 bags can be tough, surprising it has been handy to save as many boxes as possible.

I brought another 5 boxes to the west.

I still have the box for the vacuum cleaner.

I might add the photos to Facebook of my new place, when the furniture turns up that is.

By looking at the picture you can tell the phone is connected, it even works tried it last night, but don't expect me to answer it if you want to ring me use the mobile.

I phoned Telstra to get the phone connected and then they said yes we will ring you back tomorrow to get the internet connected, yeah sure. So I phoned them.
Currently I am using the IPhone to connect to the computer to the internt, I guess mobile phones are useful not just for making calls.

Funny there's no mention of the rugby score. Is Australia 16 losing to the Poms and Irish 41 a bad loss or is this score line normal?

There is on the cruising thread I'm on. We've got the poms adding their not so welcome posts.

Wow. May I ask how much the initial investment was?

First install was 6kw which cost $11,990 then we added another 1kw for another $1,520......all up $13,510 - pay back of 3 years.

Then it's a free J class fare to somewhere decent every year:D

Maybe in their excitement they forgot to tell you about it. Or it was mentioned somewhere in the email and you missed it.

In our Perth office we do movie tickets rather than cake to celebrate birthdays seeing we pay our staff by the kilo. The new Battery powered Taylor Dunn stock pickers to run around our two warehouses have been popular. We bought them when the price dropped which was helped by a 1.05 dollar recently.
Bundy Bear is now almost a Sandgroper seeing the first month has almost slipped by.

I didn't receive an email in response though. I did ask RedRoo about that a few weeks ago. The voucher is dated February. Is that maybe when the flights to/fro Adelaide were "enhanced"? We were rerouted through Melbourne on an August Singapore flight so maybe that's it? And it's only just appeared.
