Ohh that's horrible, it happens to me frequently at work but it's so much worse when it's someone you know x
Just gut wrenching. I know those affected directly better than the person they lost. Two 7yps without a Dad, and a woman without her partner.
And now having conversations with Little Miss about whatwpuld happen if the Mum dies as well. :shock:
A close friend of mine's partner died about an hour after she gave birth to their first children - twins - just over a year ago. Some sort of seizure that I think may still remain unexplained. It was in a major private hospital (you've done some work at it in W Leederville, IIRC, PF), so not the result of alternative birthing practices.
That was shattering beyond belief. He had also started a new job just weeks before. His employer, a major multi-national resources company, was marvellous.
Bloody specialist. Had a social chat then charged me a new consultation fee despite having seen him in the last 18 months!
