Sorry for late reply. We were fine, hot, but all ok. We did go to death-con 2, suitcases open on lounge room floor, tow-bar put on car, animal cages by the door, fire clothes - still hanging up ready from last week, walk around the house with our fire list of what each of us wanted saved, then just either read or watched Dr Who.
I hope you mean DefCon-2.

Something not quite right if one can still taste the tomato juice in the vodka last night. I only had a couple. Time to change mixers.

The only books I buy now are Stephen King, everything else is Kindle now.
Plenty of books on my tablet, but I like looking at my shelves as they expand. And I like holding a book. Plus when I use public transport for my commute I prefer to read from page rather than screen. Better for eyes and general health.

I hate Diet Coke but find the diet tonic fine. It is 3 measures of gin isn't it? :o. Soda is much better than tonic. 96 cal versus 175. Might try soda.

If your Vodka is 40% just get it out of the freezer and it needs no mixer. I learnt that from a Russian quite a long time ago.

You won't get a headache the next morning from going for the 40% Vodka. Oh and my Svetlana didn't teach me this.....

11.15pm, husband goes to kitchen

11.16pm, I hear glass breaking

11.16.15pm, I go investigate

11.16.25pm hubby goes back to bed, leaving me to clean up.

Thanks, dear.

I hope he said "thanks dear" in that 10 seconds...

No he didnt and it deteriorated after that as I was reading my kindle in bed and he complained about the light, saying it kept him awake and he couldnt sleep.

Reason why I was reading in bed... because of his snoring! (public swimming pool and office visit air con means hes snoring for the first time in ages).
