Urunga wetlands. This was an environmental restoration after the area was contaminated and everything left to die, due to mercury, sulfer and lots of nasties. Wonderful to hear lots of frogs croaking and bird sounds.

Well “bus stop” functionally is a “departure gate”. It is rare for a departure gate to have a loo close by.

It’s always interesting to note the different building practices. They build the concrete frames then fill in with bricks. Not done here in AU

I can’t see a concrete frame? In Western Australia we build with double brick. Not brick veneer after timber frames. (Well, some metal framed brick veneer in Kalgoorlie now.)

Looks like metal window and door frames. Just a concrete corner pillar. A bit hard to tell, of course. And it looks like a concrete slab above ground level. A single brick garage wall in house on the right.

Edit. Sorry, I can see there is concrete where I thought door frame at first. I can’t tell if the house if frames with concrete, though. I am interest to see it first hand.

A West Aussie friend who now lives in Germany built his house the WA way. Caused quite a bit of interest locally.
