Six to 8 years old wines under cork will show some variation bottle to bottle, more/worse if the corks aren't top quality. The different descriptions I see here for these wines strongly suggest cork-related issues. These Sharktooth anecdotes are morphing into quite a hullaballoo. Sounds like we're being mof_'d!
Yep. My 2015’s are under corkYes, it stated under screwcap. Did you receive it under cork?

what can we do? Could be export version?Shiraz 2015 – Black Friday Deal #46724 - Red Wine | Vinomofo Australia
We're welcoming this producer into the fold for the first time- and we're starting with a bang. When this lands at your door, prepare to be in awe.www.vinomofo.com
They did say it’s screwcap!
And me also. Haven’t tried it yet. The bottle says to drink to 2030 and to decant carefully.I also received under cork
Thanks for the sleuthing OW, the only thing I agree with in terms of Kyte-Powell's review is the mention of "liniment and... decent measure of cedary oak" ) but who wants to drink DencorubThere is something fishy going on with VM Sharktooth. I have 2017 Sharktooth from a different source but haven’t tried it. But I tried 2015 Sharktooth from a different source I thought it was very good. Here is a review for 2017. I might give it a go on the weekend. View attachment 353549

Is there any export-related clues on the back label?what can we do? Could be export version?
I received this email this morning:
I've just heard from our warehouse team that there was a small admin error and the Henschke Mount Edelstone Shiraz 2004 in your order has been cancelled as we've completely sold out of this particular wine!
I've gone ahead and processed your refund of $60 for you which should only take a couple of business days to reach you
And also given a $20 refund - which doesn't seem sufficient in the circumstances?
indeed, though perhaps someone entered initial inventory as 200 instead of 20? makes me feel a bit better about missing out:Wow, I would be nuclear-level pissed by that. It would be the baitiest bait advertising ever to get a person legitimately expecting an actual $200-plus wine for $60 only to pull it in these circs. Their system can plainly ensure they're not oversold. I'd defo threaten going to the ACCC for bait advertising. At the least I'd ask for a detailed and satisfactory explanation as to how it could be that their system accepted the sale only for it to so magically evaporate. Have the St Henris and Quintets been similarly affected? $20 is a rubbish opening compo offer.
afaik only $25 referral codes which can be used by both new and existing customersAny good VM promo codes going around?
Looks local to me. The box is printed clearly that is is under cork, so they should know what they have in stock. Is there any export-related clues on the back label?
I think it comes down to what you are expecting. I gather from your comments over the years that you like a particular style of wine and assess against that. My preference is for variety so I'm going to be more positive about something that is a little bit different (eg the I didn't mind the Douglas that so many sent back a while ago). My original commentary on the Sharktooth was positive, based on the complexity I assessed for a wine I paid $15 for. Also that it wasn't a typical shiraz, more spice/tobacco/leather is what I got from it. The Old Faithful was more Shiraz-like.Unfortunately for me it's the well-trodden path to the local PO and the whirr of the printer pushing out another return label that is giving me the sh*ts...
I have 2015 Sharktooth under screwcap and the back of my bottle is identical - even the barcode is the same.Looks local to me. The box is printed clearly that is is under cork, so they should know what they have in stock.
