Please don't try it on my flight... I prefer not to be bothered by other pax, that's why I fly F!![]()
Yes, me too, but I would qualify it by saying it may depend on what the person looks like

4 pax normal?
So if ea pax drinks 3 to 4botts champers as I normally do hopefully won't need to posting any more of that rubbish about QF skungeing on the champers!![]()
Also not everybody selects seats prior to travel, I am still baffled that some of my WP colleagues do not select seats in J on an A380 and end up in row 20
I have now also travelled in 5K and must say I really liked it, very private and didn't notice any noise from the galley.
You don't wanna be in 5K, Bru, since everyone in F knows you are a freebie upgrade.![]()
As a WP & WP 1 I have always been pre allocated 11 A thru to 13A when booking. Seems strange they are not pre allocated.
Kefci2000 I know of one points upgrade in the system for QF9 on Thursday. (To DXB anyway.)
So see you in the lounge??
i really ummed and arrrhed about submitting a points up grade request (having done so SYD-LAX in May), but am trying to save points to take the good lady with me next time.

Hi AFF'ers.
Got the magic upgrade from J to F SYD-LHR on the A380, pretty excited - I've picked A3 based on the recommendations in this thread.
The A side is nice and quiet as 4 less passengers to stroll past.
But there's no bad seat in F, seriously.
I sat in 5K last week and slept like a baby![]()
No - that's at 5A ...In the bassinet?![]()

One issue friends of mine had while on the K side was the reflection from the TV of someone in the middle seat across from the aisle disturbed their sleeping (though I'm not sure why they didn't use the eye-shades).
That seems genuinely odd given that the K seats angle towards the window when made in to a bed. Can't say I have ever experienced that before.
