Do we know what happens with Lounge access for QF flight when you cant add the QR FF to the booking? do I just show my QR gold card and my QF boarding pass?

If you use the Qcredits for an upgrade do you then have to re-earn those Qcredits to hit your requalification? So in tern it's not a free upgrade but sacrificing Qcredits to requalify?

It’s a strange mix of terminology for Aussies used to points as currency and status credits for, well, status. But for Qatar I’m pretty sure qcredits are the equivalent of points, and qpoints are status credits.

This has worked for me for a while - present card (non QF OWE) and boarding pass - never had a problem domestically. Lounge staff have even asked if I want to change the FF in the booking and had no problem when I said no.
There maybe a few more people doing this moving forward however...

Still too hard to tell if we’ll be able to take advantage of this for international flights but I’m wondering if I were to make a booking for Europe a week before status expires could I still use the qcredits to upgrade that flight, even if status drops before the flight date?

You should still be able to.

Good idea. Hopefully it's possible. I was thinking June next year things would be getting back on track for international travels, but it's looking less and less likely.

Got a message from them through my Qatar membership page last week (gosh accessing your page is a bit tricky, what with them sending you an SMS every time) so resent a copy of virgin card and was able to screen-shot from computer membership details and convert into a pdf file (with help) and send to them this time. Heres hoping.

Hi another newbie here. So I have my newly minted Qatar Gold Status match confirmation email thanks to my Velocity Gold Status.. I also just booked a revenue return QF flight Brisbane Cairns with my Qantas Frequent Flyer member number attached to earn Qantas points and status. How do I arrange to take advantage of my new One World Sapphire benefits (priority checkin, screening, extra baggage, Qantas Lounge access) on my QF domestic flight? Can I also attach my Qatar Privilege Club number to the booking while still earning QFF points and status?
