Has anyone been following the eat-the-poop incident here in Sydney's Coogee Bay Hotel??

Is it worth doing a day trip to KUL? Is it feasible, and easily doable?
I think I will leave IE phishng filter on for now. I tried turning IE protected mode off and I lost the ability to create a new tab and had to create a new window each time.I noted you turned off Norton's phishing filter; did you turn off the phishing filter built into IE? Just a suggestion.... clear all the cookies and try again.
If you are thinking of doing it as an SC run or something, the timetables will be against you.

I think he means just for the day, e.g. like a person living in London doing a Paris day trip dealie. Not an SC run.
Quite easy to get SIN-KUL so many times in the day as far as timetables are concerned. Of course, it's not exactly dominated by ow by any means. I can't remember how long SIN-KUL is on the top of my head, but you'll also need to build in time on the train between KUL airport (Sepang) and Kuala Lumper city itself - this is probably about 1-2 hours give or take (altogether for the day). After that - depends on what you want to do. But you'd probably want to make it a long day if possible, or overnight it.
Certainly; as I mention in the following thread:http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/com...od-sc-run-options-sin-15267.html#post202721If you are thinking of doing it as an SC run or something, the timetables will be against you.Is it worth doing a day trip to KUL? Is it feasible, and easily doable?
PER-ADL has 590, 668, 592, 584 and 810
ADL-PER is more stable with 593, 587, 585, 595 and 599
Well, here's one:
The last flight on some days on the BNE-PER leg is QF767. (I took that flight myself in mid-August)
Guess what kind of aircraft runs that route.(no prizes for the answer)
I have sometimes wondered given the whole hanging around the airport thing, getting from KUL to the city etc, if it isn't just quicker to catch a bus between the two cities.
Anyway, I was talking from a OneWorld perspectice. Plenty of SQ or MH options between the two cities.

I hear the announcement for boarding on that flight on most Fridays. The last flight on some days on the BNE-PER leg is QF767. (I took that flight myself in mid-August)
Hire a car! Drive over early in the morning and return early evening.I would be looking for the cheapest option for 3 PAX, happy to bus (or other) if it's cheaper than flying. It's more of a "FYI" kind of trip, possibly with some shopping as it may be better in KL than SIN given the exchange rates.
Have done a bit more research, and at 5 hours each way... there's no way that'll be happening in a day especially given I've never been to KUL before. Next time maybe.....
